Phone is quickest for booking a date. Email suits a list of properties or a question you want in writing. Either way you get a fixed price before anything goes in the diary.
What to tell us
Four things get you a price without a back and forth:
- The postcode. It tells us where in the county you are and how the visit fits a run.
- The property type. Flat, terrace, semi, detached, converted, shared house.
- Roughly how many circuits, if you know. Counting the switches in the fuseboard is close enough.
- Who holds the keys. You, a tenant, or an agent. It changes how we arrange access, not the price.
If you have a previous report, send it over. Knowing what was coded last time makes the visit quicker and the quote sharper.
Area covered
We are a service area business. We work from home and travel to the property, so there is no office or shop to call at. Everything happens at your address.
We cover Dorset and nowhere else. That is a deliberate choice: it keeps the drives short, the diary honest, and the person on the phone the same person who turns up.

What we do and what we do not
Worth saying plainly so nobody wastes a phone call.
- We do EICRs. Inspection, testing and a signed report on the fixed installation.
- We do fuseboard changes. Consumer unit replacement with RCD protection, tested and certificated.
- We do the small remedials an EICR finds. Coded items put right and the report updated.
- We do the wider electrical work too. Sockets, lighting, extra circuits and full rewires. Ask and we will price it.
- We do not do solar or air conditioning. Those need their own training and tickets. If that is what a property needs, we will tell you rather than patching round it.
